I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience helping children find confidence, connection, and joy in communication. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and communication profiles. My areas of expertise include receptive and expressive language development, social communication, articulation and phonology, fluency and stuttering, and early language acquisition. I also have specialized training and experience supporting Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs), and I am passionate about helping all children on their communication journey.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University and my Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Washington. I am nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and hold licensure in California.
My therapeutic approach is child-led, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming. In every session, I strive to create a space where children feel safe, curious, and empowered to explore their voices in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them. I integrate evidence-based practices with playful, engaging activities tailored to each child’s unique strengths and interests.
I also view families as essential partners in the therapeutic process. I work closely with parents and caregivers to provide practical strategies, coaching, and ongoing support so that communication growth extends beyond the therapy session and into daily life. Whether it’s finding new ways to connect during playtime, supporting transitions, or celebrating progress, I’m committed to helping families feel confident and supported every step of the way.
I believe that building relationships is a key part of successful therapy. At the end of the day, therapy should be fun!
If this sounds like a good fit for you and your child, let’s work together!
About
My Approach
☻
Family-Centered
My goal is to empower families, while helping children build the communication skills they need to express themselves and build meaningful relationships with those around them. Positive relationships and rapport allows for real progress to be made.
✦
Neurodiversity-Affirming
Every child deserves to be understood and celebrated for who they are. I create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. I ensure that sessions are strengths-based and follow each child’s lead along the way!
❋
Strengths-Based
I believe that therapy should focus on the strengths of the child, while encouraging them meet their goals. I feel strongly about incorporating a child’s interests into therapy to make it a fun, meaningful, and positive experience.
Getting started is simple and family-friendly. Here’s what to expect:

Evaluation – Through play, conversation, and assessment, I’ll get to know your child’s communication strengths and areas for growth.
Plan & Recommendations – Together, we’ll review the results, talk about your goals, and decide on the best session length and frequency.
Therapy Sessions – Sessions are fun, engaging, and tailored to your child’s unique needs, with simple strategies for you to use at home, too.
